Air France has now revealed its new La Première suite, marking the next stage of the airline’s major project to move their long-haul service upmarket, as part of their ‘Best and Beyond’ campaign. The La Première suite will be progressively rolled out in 19 Air France Boeing 777-300 from September 2014.

La Première - a luxury first class suite

The new La Première cabin now offers four exclusive individual suites on board Air France’s long-haul Boeing 777-300. Each suite offers three square metres of space and ensures optimum privacy, allowing customers to be totally or partially alone, in absolute comfort. Once on board, La Première guests will be made to feel at home immediately, thanks to the large seat, which adapts to each passenger’s morphology, promoting rest and relaxation. Each seat also comes equipped with a 24-inch personal HD touch screen, one of the largest screens ever seen on board.

La Première – for a great night’s sleep

When the La Première passenger is ready to go to sleep, the seat turns into a fully-flat bed instantly, measuring over two metres long, with retractable armrests for maximum comfort. Cabin crew members will also install a mattress on the seat, and offer a fluffy pillow with a cotton pillowcase, together with a Sofitel My Bed duvet for a great night’s sleep.

La Première – with different privacy options

Each of the La Première suites enables passengers to decide whether they would like total or partial privacy, thanks to thick separating curtains, held back with leather tiebacks. The suites can also be enjoyed with a fellow passenger, with a comfortable ottoman chair available for use opposite the main seat, allowing La Première passengers to invite a guest for dinner, or simply for a conversation.

La Première – a sophisticated design

Air France embodies French elegance, evident in its choice of textures and materials, always guided by the overarching aim for absolute passenger comfort. The leather-effect cabin walls provide a cosy atmosphere, while high-quality leather can also be found on the headrests and armrests. A thick, soft, woven tweed fabric covers the seat, giving a touch of elegance to the décor, while the suite’s various storage compartments are padded with suede. Stitching, together with touches of wood and metal, complete the suite’s design, creating a sophisticated interior, down to the very last details.
