Air Arabia’s Charity Cloud Has Launched a New Healthcare Clinic in Bangladesh

Air Arabia, the Middle East and North Africa’s first and largest low-cost carrier operator, has further extended its humanitarian efforts with the opening of a new healthcare clinic in Bangladesh with its award-winning Charity Cloud program. The new facility will provide vital medical services to underserved communities, underscoring the airline’s dedication to corporate social responsibility initiatives and making a positive impact beyond the realm of aviation.
Air Arabia was one of the pioneers in launching a sustainable CSR initiative with the introduction of the ‘Charity Cloud’ project in 2007. The program aims to improve the lives of underprivileged communities worldwide by investing in education and healthcare. Donations are collected onboard Air Arabia flights, where passengers contribute spare change in any currency using special envelopes provided in their seats. The funds are then collected and annually invested in healthcare and educational projects in countries spanning the Air Arabia network.
The new clinic in Bangladesh joins a growing number of Charity Cloud facilities spanning 19 countries. These facilities collectively serve over 30,000 patients and 1,000 students annually, providing crucial support and opportunities to those in need.
