FORMIA announces new business of RIMOWA amenity kits for Thai Airways

FORMIA, one of the world’s leading suppliers of high quality, branded in-flight amenity kits and cosmetics, today announces that, working with partners World Planet, RIMOWA and L’Occitane, it is supplying new high quality RIMOWA in-flight amenity cases to Thai Airways. Supplies of the new kit - a miniature travel case containing a variety of specially selected products from the famous L’Occitane cosmetic range - started in December 2012.

Available to First Class passengers only, the introduction of this travel amenity case is the result of a co-development led by FORMIA and RIMOWA, the renowned German luxury luggage maker. The quality of the RIMOWA miniature travel case is reflected in its construction which features an extremely durable polycarbonate shell and an attractive high gloss finish. Previously supplied in seven stylish colours, a new range of nine new colours has now been introduced for Thai Airways passengers to enjoy collecting, as well as a significant upgrade of the contents following the introduction of high quality items from the L’Occitane range.

Judging by positive comments made by Thai Airways passengers on social media and online travel forums, the quality of these products is clearly held in high regard.

Commenting, FORMIA Managing Director, Roland Grohmann, said: “The RIMOWA miniature travel case has always received a positive reaction from Thai Airways and their passengers. It is particularly pleasing that readers of Travel Plus magazine have awarded FORMIA, together with Thai Airways, the Most innovative Airline Amenities Bag Design award. This signifies the achievement of one of our principal corporate goals: to be the consumers’ choice. L’Occitane products need no introduction to discerning consumers. They perfectly match the quality of the case. With added value and quality, we are delighted to present this new edition to Thai Airways and its First Class passengers. “
