Cruise fever releases Android app

CruiseFever.net, an online leader in providing cruise tips and reviews on the web, has announced that they have released an app in the Android Marketplace. This app will allow users who download it to read the latest cruise news, tips, and reviews without visiting their website.  It can also be set to give a notification when a new article has been released.  This will allow users to not have to open up the app to see if new information has been provided on the site.

http://www.cruisefever.net was founded in the summer of 2011 by two brothers who are addicted to cruising and get “cruise fever” whenever they are not on a cruise ship.  They noticed a lack of good detailed tips for first time, and long time cruisers.  The idea was then formed to create a website that is filled with information to help travelers make the more out of their cruise.  While the website focuses on cruises to the Bahamas and Caribbean, the tips can be applied to all cruises.

The cruise industry is one of the fastest growing areas of travel in the world.  Close to 80% of Americans have never been on a cruise and are unfamiliar with the ins and outs of taking a cruise.  Cruise Fever provides those who are searching for this information on topics like cell phone costs, proper tipping procedures, booking tips, and how to make the most of your time on board the ship.

Cruise Fever has recently added a new section where the latest in cruise news is released.  With the recent Costa Concordia disaster, letting readers know the latest in news and rules is a much added benefit.  Safety rules have recently changed and cruisers need to know abut these changes before they get on board.

This Android app is just the beginning of the things that the brothers have planned for Cruise Fever.  While they will not say exactly what they have planned, they promise to continue to do everything that they can to help out travelers who are planning to go on a cruise vacation.
