Visa International Latin America and Caribbean Region (LAC) has launched the Visa Travel Experience program to offer Visa Platinum, Visa Signature and Visa Infinite cardholders unforgettable travel experiences, expanding the benefits they already enjoy. Through an alliance with boutique travel agencies across the Region, Visa Travel Experience allows cardholders to access unique travel destinations such as touring the spectacular landscapes of Thailand, going on safari in the exuberant African savannahs, and staying at the most luxurious and avant-garde hotels and spas worldwide.

“We want to exceed the expectations of our most sophisticated customers by giving them an opportunity to live truly unique experiences while enjoying the trust and security that Visa provides through our exclusive card products,” said Vicente Echeveste, Vice President, Consumer Products, Visa International, LAC. “With Visa Travel Experience, our upscale cardholders will be able to travel with the freedom and peace of mind of knowing Visa is there to help them make their dreams come true.”

The Visa Travel Experience program also offers exclusive promotions, such as access to the most romantic and popular resorts in the world, as well as to five star chefs and incentives at world class spas. Additionally, cardholders can take advantage of personalized golf lessons, Visa’s concierge, and even discounts on the world’s most renowned yachts.

To take part in this new program, a Visa cardholder calls a toll-free number, which connects him or her with a network of agencies that generate a wide range of travel options and selects the travel experience that best suits their plans. Participating travel agencies specialize in luxury travel, and were carefully selected by Visa to provide this service. The program is available in ten countries throughout the Region, including Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico, Panama, Peru, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic and Venezuela.

Visa Platinum, Visa Signature and Visa Infinite cards are issued to a select group of upscale customers that meet specific income and credit requirements established by the Issuer financial institution. The cards provide unique benefits such as insurance coverage, including medical assistance, purchase protection, rental car insurance, baggage loss and early return insurance.
