WIZCOM AND TEN ONLINE ANNOUNCE LETTER OF INTENT TO DEVELOP INTERFACE BETWEEN WIZCOM WIZDOM® GDS
WizCom International, Ltd. (“WizCom”) and TEN Online announced today a letter of intent to develop an interface between the TEN Online Level 2000?” Internet Distribution System (IDS) and the WizCom Wizdom® Global Distribution System (GDS) Switch to facilitate reservations processing for WizCom hotel customers. The WizCom-TEN Online interface will allow hotels using the Wizdom® GDS Switch to enhance their online booking capability and broaden their distribution reach.
WIZCOM AND HOTEL INFORMATION SYSTEMS ANNOUNCE AGREEMENT WITH CAVANAUGHS HOSPITALITY CORPORATION
WizCom International, Ltd. (“WizCom”) announced today an agreement with Hotel Information Systems (HIS), a division of MAI Systems Corporation, and its customer, Cavanaughs Hospitality Corporation, to provide extensive CRS access and GDS connectivity solutions. Cavanaughs, a provider of premier hospitality, management and entertainment services in the Northwest, is a long-term customer of HIS. Cavanaughs uses the HIS CLS Software as their PMS and the CLS Software CRS for voice reservations. HIS will link the CLS Software CRS to the Wizdom Plus interface to give Cavanaughs access to HIS’ connection to WizCom’s Wizdom® Plus Central Reservations System. Cavanaughs will also use WizCom’s Wizdom® GDS switch technology to broaden their distribution reach. WizCom’s Wizdom® GDS switch technology will offer Cavanaughs interactive, Type A processing, seamless connectivity, online rate updates and availability processing for travel agents and users worldwide of the Global Distribution Systems (GDS).
FOUR MAJOR HOTEL CHAINS CHOOSE WIZCOM’S TRAVELWIZ INTERNET BOOKING ENGINE
WizCom International, Ltd. announced today that Aston Hotels, Mandarin Oriental, Signature Inns and ERS have chosen WizCom’s TravelWiz Internet booking engine to enhance their reservation distribution channels. By using TravelWiz, these hotel chains will be able to offer their customers direct access to the same real-time reservation and rate information available through their own central reservation system (CRS).

The WizCom interface will enable MICROS to offer its customers a variety in switching options or GDS connection types. WizCom International, Ltd., a supplier of travel industry reservation and information management systems, today announced the appointments of Barbara McCall as a Director of Business Development and Deborah Motto as Director of Support and Operations. McCall brings more than 20 years of experience in the travel industry to WizCom. Prior to joining WizCom, McCall worked for Holiday Inn Worldwide as Manager of GDS and Electronic Distribution and also has experience in GDS product development and travel agency operations. Motto has more than 25 years experience within the lodging and technology industries. Motto is a former Director of Information Management for the Cendant Hotel Division in Phoenix, AZ and has an extensive background in project management, information technology and client services.

The WizCom interface will enable HSI to offer its customers a variety in switching options and GDS connection types. WizCom International, Ltd. (“WizCom”) announced today that NH Hoteles, Spain’s largest hotel chain for business travelers, has chosen to use Wizdom Plus, WizCom’s Central Reservation System for GDS reservation processing. Quality Reservations, which represents about 75 independent hotels in Germany and Austria under the QR chain code, has also decided to work directly with WizCom for GDS switching.

(“REZsolutions”) RezView Central Reservation System (CRS). The WizCom interface will enable REZsolutions to offer their hotel customers a choice in switch providers. It will also provide hotel marketers easier access to WizCom’s seamless connectivity as well as its automatic rate and availability update features.
