Westin expands into South America

Starwood moves into all-inclusive in Costa Rica
Starwood Hotels has confirmed the opening of its first all-inclusive resort – The Westin Resort & Spa, Playa Conchal in Costa Rica. The property formerly known as the Paradisus Playa Conchal Resort will begin renovation on the hotel’s 406 spacious suites and all public areas, which will be conducted in phases through December 2011.
Westin Copley Place gets $18m renovation
Michael Jorgensen, General Manager of the Westin Copley Place, has revealed that the hotel has completed its $18 million renovation project that began on November 1, 2010, which included a complete redesign of the luxury hotel’s corridors and all 803 guestrooms.
