Stena Line will introduce two giant ships that will carry up to 1200 passengers later this year to coincide with the launch of its new Belfast-Cairnryan route in November.

Stena Line, the largest ferry company on the Irish Sea, has signed a sponsorship deal with another giant, the Belfast Giants, in a two year title sponsorship deal.

Stena Line, an international transport and travel service company and leading ferry operator, today announces that it is working with Maxymiser, the global leader of conversion rate optimisation solutions, to increase the number of ferry bookings made through its website. Initial results from a mix of multivariate and A/B tests across the booking pages of the Stena Line website have already shown 6 per cent uplift in conversion rates.

Stena Line has expressed its delight at the announcement that its acquisition of the DFDS routes from Belfast to Liverpool (Birkenhead) and Belfast to Heysham has been fully approved by the Competition Commission.

Stena Line is preparing to assist travellers in crossing the Irish Sea following the UK Met Office prediction that another ash cloud will reach the UK, with the potential of throwing thousands of peoples travel plans into chaos.

Stena Line has reintroduced the HSS Stena Explorer to operate on its Holyhead to Dun Laoghaire route, operating between Friday 1 April and Tuesday 13 September to cope with the additional demand over the summer period.
