Ryanair’s customer registration service is now live on the Ryanair.com website. All Ryanair customers can now create their own personal profile and securely store their personal details online, which will help them to make faster bookings and check-in quicker online via the site.
Ryanair to operate new routes out of Bologna
Ryanair has announced two new routes from Bologna Airport, Italy. From April 1st next year the low-cost carrier will fly to Manchester and Oslo (Rygge). The connection to Oslo will have two weekly frequencies, on Tuesdays and Saturdays, while the flight to Manchester will have three weekly frequencies, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Ryanair cuts excess baggage fee by 50%
Ryanair, today (9 Dec) delivered an early Christmas present to customers by cutting its excess baggage fee by 50% (from €20/£20 to €10/£10 per kg) from Mon 9 Dec.
Ryanair launches allocated seating
Ryanair has launched allocated seating on all Ryanair flights from February 1st 2014, with booking now available. The move, which follows a similar decision from low-cost rival easyJet, allows Ryanair customers to choose their preferred seats in advance.

Ryanair is making a number of customer service improvements including increased baggage allowance, reduced boarding card reissue fees and enhanced online experience for users.
Ryanair to add 12 Stansted routes
Ryanair is planning to open 12 new routes from London Stansted in April 2014 as well as adding frequencies on 17 existing routes, which will deliver an additional 1,300,000 passengers per year and support 1,300 new on-site jobs at London Stansted Airport.
Ryanair plans nine new Dublin routes
Low cost carrier Ryanair will open 9 new routes from Dublin from April 2014 as well as increased frequencies on 8 existing routes, which it claims will deliver an additional 700,000 passengers per year and support 700 new on-site jobs at Dublin Airport.
Ryanair adds three Knock routes
Ryanair is planning to open 3 new routes from Knock to Eindhoven, Glasgow Prestwick & Kaunas from April 2014, as well as increased frequencies on its London route, which the carrier claims will deliver an additional 80,000 passengers per year and support 80 new on-site jobs at Knock.
Ryanair to make customer service improvements
Seemingly tiring of the endless complaints about its customer service, low-cost airline Ryanair has confirmed it will make a series of improvements over the next six months. First among the changes will be the removal of the ‘Recaptcha’ security code, which will be removed from the Ryanair.com website for individual bookings next week.
Ryanair fined 8m by French court
A French court has fined Ryanair more than 8 million euros (£6.7m) for failing to pay social insurance and state pension contributions in France for Ryanair crews flying to/from Marseille from 2007 to 2010.
Ryanair plans Polish domestic routes
