Ryanair flies into Venice Marco Polo
Ryanair has confirmed its route from Bristol to Venice Treviso will move to Venice Marco Polo from September. This is in addition to the new route to Bucharest and two new winter services to Krakow and Milan announced earlier, which will deliver over 1.7 million customers and support 1,300 jobs at Bristol Airport.

Ryanair rolls out new booking options for business travellers
Ryanair has unveiled its new Leisure Plus fare, offering customers a discounted bundle of travel extras, including priority boarding, a reserved seat and a 20 kilogram bag. Ryanair also launched an improved Business Plus service, with flight change flexibility extended to two days either side of the scheduled flight date as well as on the day of travel.
French strikes likely to hit Euro 2016 flights
Ryanair has called again on the European Commission to take action to prevent the skies over Europe being closed once more by French air traffic controllers’ union strikes, targeting the European Championships. Ryanair has been forced to cancel 44 flights on Tuesday, to/from and over France, in what will be the 50th French strike since 2009, and tenth in the past 12 weeks.
Euro 2016: Ryanair launches dedicated Euro 2016 services
Ryanair has launched England Euro 2016 return specials from London and Manchester for England’s Group B games against Russia (in Marseille) and Wales (in Lens), following huge demand from England fans. The low-cost Irish carrier has scheduled three extra flights in total, including an extra London Stansted flight to Marseille for England v Russia (June 11th), and from Manchester to Brussels Charleroi for England v Wales (June 16th), in nearby Lens.

Ryanair has announced that it will launch a low price accommodation offer, “Ryanair Rooms”, from October, offering its 116 million customers the widest choice of hotel, hostel, B&B, holiday villa and homestay options. Ryanair is inviting all interested accommodation providers to submit proposals to become partners in “Ryanair Rooms”.
Ryanair cancels 16 Norwegian routes following tax rise
Ryanair has confirmed it will close its base in Oslo Rygge as of Saturday, October 29th, 2016 and reduce its traffic in Norway by approximately 50 per cent. The move follows a decision by the government of Norway to introduce a new tax of 80 Norwegian kroner to be paid by all airline passengers departing from any airport in Norway on both domestic and international flights.
Ryanair sees profits rise as passenger numbers reach new heights
Ryanair has reported full year profits of €1,242 million, a 43 per cent increase on the prior year. Traffic grew 18 per cent to 106 million passengers, as load factor jumped five points to 93 per cent. The average fare at the low-cost carrier dropped one per cent to €46, as unit costs fell six per cent, excluding fuel.
