Quito to welcome Routes America in 2018
Quito and Corporación Quiport, the concessionaire of the Mariscal Sucre International Airport, will host Routes Americas 2018. The event is the only one on the international calendar that brings together airports and airlines of the region seeking to develop new connectivity alternatives.
Routes signs up with PATA to promote international aviation
Routes and the Pacific Asia Travel Association have reached a two year agreement to collaborate to advance the understanding of the value of airline connectivity for destinations. This preferred partnership will enable Routes and PATA to collaborate on the development of programmes around both World Routes and Routes’ regional events that will give a clearer focus on the main trade, tourism, and human dimensions of connectivity.
Donetsk to host Routes CIS 2013
Routes has announced Donetsk Sergey Prokofiev International Airport has officially been appointed as the Host for the 3rd Routes CIS event, to take place on July 21st-23rd. Routes CIS is the only route development forum for the entire CIS region and the 2013 event is expected to attract around 250 delegates.
Routes and International Council of Tourism Partners join forces
During the recent Routes Africa event, which took place 8-10 July in the Seychelles Routes, part of UBM Aviation and the International Council of Tourism Partners (ICTP) reached an agreement to work together to advance the understanding of the value of airline connectivity for destinations.
Routes CIS ends with record visitors to event in Ekaterinburg
The second Routes CIS event drew to a close this week in Ekaterinburg, Russia. The event opened on Sunday with the Routes CIS Strategy Forum during which, a number of leading industry experts covered some of the hot topics affecting aviation in the CIS region. The conclusion of most of the speakers during this thought-provoking debate was that barriers need to be brought down to enhance inbound and outbound traffic, especially in relation to prohibitive bilateral restrictions and visa issues.
Ekaterinburg prepares for Routes CIS
The second Routes CIS event will open in just four days time in Ekaterinburg, Russia. The event is hosted by Ekaterinburg Koltsovo Airport and will take place at the Airport Hotel Ekaterinburg, which is connected to the airport.
Airlines to attend Routes Europe in record numbers
Routes Europe will see a record airline attendance when Europe’s only Route Development Event takes place in the Estonian capital in May.
Abu Dhabi to welcome tourism elite in 2013
Shining star of the United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi has been confirmed as the host of two of the most prestigious events in the tourism calendar. First up, the UAE capital will host the 18th World Route Development Forum later this year, while the World Travel & Tourism Council Global Summit will follow in 2013.
Routes organizers meet with Seychelles tourism for Routes Africa 2012
Gerard Brown, Neil Mulligan, and Sajid Desai from Routes used the ITB 2012 Tourism Trade Fair in Berlin to meet with Alain St.Ange and Elsia Grandcourt from the Ministry of Tourism & Culture of the Seychelles to discuss the July Routes Africa 2012 Conference set to be held for the first time in the Seychelles.
