We have already had Snakes on a Plane, now Australian flag-carrier Qantas has gone one better with the release of a crocodile on a flight. Baggage handlers discovered the animal while unloading a flight from Brisbane at Melbourne Airport earlier.

Australian flag-carrier Qantas has announced a new global aviation partnership with Emirates designed to give customers a seamless Australian and international network. Under the agreement, signed this morning by Emirates president Tim Clark and Qantas Group chief executive Alan Joyce, Qantas will move its hub for European flights to Dubai and enter an extensive commercial relationship with Emirates.

After a four-year absence Qantas, Australia’s premium airline, has announced that it will resume daily services between Sydney and the Gold Coast in order to meet the growing demand for leisure and business travel in the region. Following continual analysis of the network, from late October Qantas will commence three daily return services between the Gold Coast and Sydney using Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
