Oman Air launches new services to Goa, India
Oman Air has launched a brand-new service between the Omani capital of Muscat and Goa, India. The new service, which was announced in January 2015 and started earlier, offers four flights per week. Goa is Oman Air’s eleventh destination in India, and the service meets strong demand from leisure travellers drawn by Goa’s famed natural beauty.
Milano Expo 2015 appoints Oman Air as official reseller
As Milano Expo 2015 prepares to open its doors to an expected 20 million visitors, Oman Air has been named as the event’s Preferred Authorised Reseller for the Sultanate of Oman. The Omani national airline offers tickets for sale and details of how they can be purchased has been published. EXPO Milano 2015 takes place between May 1st and October 31st 2015 and will follow the theme of ‘Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life’.
Tires burst on Oman Air flight during arrival in Delhi
Oman Air flight WY A40-BV 73L, a Boeing 737 flying from Muscat to Delhi, has experienced two burst tyres following its arrival at Delhi. The incident occurred while the aircraft was taxiing soon after it landed at the airport. Some 143 passengers and six crew were onboard and no injuries have been reported.

ITB Berlin 2015: Oman Air to detail expansion plans in Germany
