Norwegian boosts transatlantic low-cost flights after successful launch
Norwegian continues to expand its long-haul network with new routes and more departures on existing connections. A non-stop service will launch between London Gatwick and Orlando as well as between Copenhagen and Orlando.

US department of transport delays final Norwegian flight approval
The US Department of Transportation announced today that it will require additional time to reach a decision on Norwegian Air International’s application for a foreign carrier permit to serve the US from Europe. Records continue to tumble at Norwegian
Low-cost carrier Norwegian carried approximately 2.5 million passengers in July 2014, an increase of 17 per cent compared to the same month previous year. This is the highest number of passengers Norwegian has carried in a single month. The load factor was 88.2 per cent.
Norwegian to fly direct low-cost flights to Bangkok
Norwegian is launching a new route between Copenhagen and Bangkok. The new direct route, which launches on October 30th, will operate twice a week. Norwegian already offers direct routes between Bangkok and Oslo and Stockholm.
Norwegian reaches record passenger figures
Norwegian carried more than 2.3 million passengers in June 2014, an increase of 21 per cent compared to the same month last year. The load factor at the low-cost airline was 82.5 per cent. up 2.9 percentage points. The total passenger traffic increased by 45 per cent, while the capacity increased by 39 per cent this month.

Norwegian Air Shuttle has launched low-cost, long haul services on the ‘hub busting’ Dreamliner aircraft between London Gatwick and the USA. Passengers can now enjoy the most competitive fares on transatlantic routes including Los Angeles, New York and Fort Lauderdale.
Norwegian launches new European destinations out of Gatwick
Norwegian continues to expand its route network from London Gatwick by launching two new routes to Warsaw and Berlin. In addition it increases the number of daily departures to Copenhagen.

Norwegian carried more than 1.8 million passengers in March 2014, an increase of 25 per cent compared to the same month last year. The capacity growth was 51 per cent, in absolute terms the highest capacity growth in a single month.

Norwegian carried more than 1.5 million passengers in February 2014, an increase of 22 per cent compared to February last year. The load factor also increased, despite strong capacity growth. In February, 1,527,099 passengers flew with Norwegian.
Norwegian slips to loss as expansion continues
Scandinavian budget carrier Norwegian Air Shuttle has reported a loss in the fourth quarter and sharply lower profits for 2013. The declines were the result of heavy investments in new long-haul aircraft, the airline said in a statement to markets.
