Avani Al Marjan Island set for Ras Al Khaimah opening in 2019
Minor Hotels has announced the signing of a management agreement for a new Avani property in the United Arab Emirates – Avani Al Marjan Island Ras Al Khaimah Resort. Al Marjan is a collection of four pristine man-made islands in Ras Al Khaimah, set against the backdrop of the Arabian Peninsula, only 30 minutes from Ras Al Khaimah International Airport and 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport.

Oaks Bodhgaya set for India opening in late 2016

Minor Hotel Group reveals two new United Arab Emirates properties
Minor Hotel Group has announced the addition of two new properties to its pipeline in the United Arab Emirates. Anantara Jebel Dhanna and AVANI Jebel Dhanna in Abu Dhabi will soon begin development and both are scheduled to open in 2018. The developer of these two new properties is Dhabi Contracting LLC and Aecom has been appointed as the lead architecture and interior design consultant for the project.
Minor Hotel Group sees profits rise after Oaks acquisition
Minor Hotel Group has reported a 38 per cent year-on-year increase in net profit for 2015. The increase is largely attributable to the improved performance of Oaks Hotels & Resorts, a strong increase in real estate income and revaluation gains of Baht670 million from business acquisitions relating to the Sun International and Oaks Elan Darwin transactions.
