Marriott sells The Westin Maui Resort & Spa, Ka’anapali
Marriott International has completed the sale of its long-term leasehold interest in The Westin Maui Resort & Spa, Ka’anapali for approximately $317 million. Marriott will continue to manage the 759-room property under a long-term management agreement.

Marriott sees quarterly earnings grow after completing Starwood acquisition
Marriott International has reported fourth quarter 2016 results, the first since the completion of its acquisition of Starwood Hotels & Resorts. In the quarter the combined company reported net income of $244 million, a 21 per cent increase over 2015 fourth quarter net income of $202 million.
