Boeing, ESG and Lufthansa Technik expand partnership
Boeing, ESG Elektroniksystem- und Logistik-GmbH and Lufthansa Technik have signed a three-party agreement that reinforces joint efforts to support Germany’s new P-8A Poseidon fleet. With the new agreement, Boeing, ESG and Lufthansa Technik will be the team responsible for executing the P-8A sustainment program in Germany.
Lufthansa reactivates Airbus A380
Lufthansa is reactivating the Airbus A380 in response to the steep rise in customer demand and the delayed delivery of ordered aircraft. The airline expects to use the long-haul aircraft, which is popular with customers and crews, again from summer 2023. The company is currently assessing how many A380s will be reactivated and which destinations the Airbus will fly to.
Lufthansa takes off as “Lovehansa”
To mark Pride Month, Lufthansa will be taking off with a special aircraft to destinations throughout Europe. The Lufthansa livery will be “Lovehansa” painted in the colours of the rainbow to symbolise the pride flag.
