End in sight for Lufthansa strike
After the end of the longest strike in the company’s history, Lufthansa will already return to almost normal operations on Saturday and will offer its customers the usual service as soon as possible. All scheduled long-haul connections will be able to operate on the day. Furthermore the long-haul connections from Frankfurt to Hong Kong, Singapore, Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paolo, which were scheduled to take off on late Friday evening, will be delayed to Saturday morning.
Singapore Airlines draws closer to Lufthansa with new codeshare deal
Singapore Airlines and Lufthansa have signed a wide-ranging partnership agreement that will see the two airline groups operating key routes between Singapore and Europe on a joint-venture basis, in addition to significantly expanding codeshare ties and deepening commercial co-operation. Flights between Singapore and both Frankfurt and Munich, as well as flights between Singapore and Zurich, are to be operated under revenue-sharing arrangements.
Lufthansa offers UFO cabin crew new concessions
The board of directors of Deutsche Lufthansa has attempted to resolve the bargaining disagreement with the Independent Flight Attendant’s Union with a new offer. The company already offers its 19,000 flight attendants remuneration and employment benefits that are far above industry averages, and are hardly matched in any other airline worldwide, the airline said in a statement earlier.
Lufthansa cancels 900 flights as strike action bites
German flag-carrier Lufthansa has cancelled more than 900 flights today as cabin crew walk out on strike. Lufthansa said 929 of the 3,000 planned scheduled flights to or from Frankfurt, Dusseldorf and Munich would be cancelled today, affecting 113,000 passengers.
Lufthansa to launch new Denver route in 2016
Lufthansa and Denver International Airport has announced non-stop service between Denver, Colorado, and Munich, Germany. The service begins on May 11th, 2016 and will be operated by an Airbus A330-300 five times per week. The new eastbound LH 481 service will operate on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, departing Denver at 16:05 and arriving in Munich the following morning.

Lufthansa set to launch San Jose-Frankfurt route in 2016
Lufthansa has introduced a non-stop service between San Jose, California and Frankfurt, Germany. The new service, which will commence on April 29th, 2016, will be the first non-stop flight from Silicon Valley to the European gateway hub of Frankfurt. The five-times-weekly service will be operated using Airbus A340-300 equipment.

Lufthansa launches new flights to Tampa
Lufthansa German Airlines has begun a new non-stop service to Florida’s west coast. Flight LH482 left Frankfurt at 11:00 and arrived at Tampa International Airport at 15:50 local time. The return flight, LH483, will depart Tampa at 17:20 and arrive in Frankfurt 08:45.
Lufthansa completes new business class rollout across fleet
Lufthansa has now successfully completed the most extensive cabin renewal programme in the company’s history. As of now, only aircraft with new cabin interiors are in scheduled service.
