Laudamotion has confirmed that Ryanair has completed the purchase of a 100 per cent shareholding in the company. The Austrian airline now becomes a subsidiary of Ryanair Holdings, the group that owns Europe’s largest carrier.
Continuing to concentrate on its route network expansion for 2019, Budapest Airport has announced the arrival of new airline partner, Laudamotion.
Laudamotion will double its Airbus fleet from nine to 18 aircraft next summer. The decision follows the completion of Ryanair’s purchase of 75 per cent shareholding in Laudamotion from founder and former Formula 1 racing driver Niki Lauda earlier this month.
