LANGHAM HOSPITALITY GROUP NAMES JOSH LITTMAN AS EMEA DEVELOPMENT LEAD
Langham Hospitality Group has appointed Josh Littman as Head of Development – EMEA. Based in London, Littman will lead the Group’s expansion efforts across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, with a focus on securing new hotel and branded residence contracts for The Langham Hotels & Resorts, Cordis Hotels & Resorts, Eaton and Ying’nFlo.
Renowned Violinist Joshua Bell Spotlighted as Latest ‘Langham Luminary’
Langham Hospitality Group (LHG) has named American violinist Joshua Bell as a “Langham Luminary” for its flagship brand’s “Your Story. Our Legacy.” campaign. Launched in January of this year, the global initiative celebrates the lives of the cultural icons who have frequented The Langham Hotels and Resorts’ (The Langham’s) properties over the years and, in doing so, shaped the brand’s distinctive persona. They include notable figures such as famed food creator Brooklyn Peltz Beckham and Olympic gold-medal fencer Cheung Ka-long. The series also reflects the timeless influence of guests from earlier eras, including Charles Dickens, Winston Churchill, George Orwell, Oscar Wilde, and Mark Twain.

Chief Operating Officer appointed to support global expansion plan
Langham Hospitality Group (LHG) has named Kevin Robinson as Chief Operating Officer, effective 14 April 2025. Robinson returns to the Group after previously leading The Langham, Chicago during its pivotal pre-opening phase in 2011. He brings over 30 years of hospitality leadership to the role, including a stellar track record of cultivating trusted relationships with hotel owners worldwide. Throughout his career, Robinson has combined this client focus with skill and a strong passion for creating innovative guest offerings that drive higher occupancy, boost revenue, and enhance long-term asset value. Starting in February 2025, the iconic property – a cherished institution that dates back to 1907 – will undergo an extensive renovation designed to enrich its historic grandeur with an artful infusion of contemporary sophistication. The meticulously planned upgrades will include redesigned interiors, enhanced outdoor spaces, and innovative new dining concepts – all carefully crafted to elevate the guest experience.
The Langham Cleared for Arrival at Bangkok’s Old Customs House
Langham Hospitality Group (LHG) and Rabbit Holdings, an affiliate of BTS Group, are proud to announce the anticipated 2026 opening of The Langham, Customs House, Bangkok. The new hotel will be situated in the Thai capital’s Bang Rak District and occupy a complex alongside the Chao Praya River. The centrepiece of the site will be the city’s old Customs House, a heritage building that will be restored to its former glory as part of the project.
JACK XIAO NAMED CHINA OPERATIONS SVP
Langham Hospitality Group (LHG) is delighted to welcome Jack Xiao as its new Senior Vice President - Operations, China. Stationed at the company’s Shanghai office, Mr. Xiao will oversee LHG’s mainland China portfolio of hotels and resorts while also supervising the group’s functional teams for the market, including Sales, Revenue, Food & Beverage, Human Resources, Finance, Marketing, and Design and Technical Services.

The Michelin Guide Hong Kong Macau 2024, which was launched at a rousing ceremony, awarded five stars across three restaurants at three Langham Hospitality Group (LHG) hotels. The wins saw T’ang Court at The Langham, Hong Kong land a coveted three-star rating for a ninth consecutive year, giving it the longest three-star winning streak for a Cantonese restaurant currently on Hong Kong’s three-star list. The two other winners – Cordis, Hong Kong’s Ming Court and Eaton HK’s Yat Tung Heen – both obtained one-star ratings for the 16th year in a row and 8th year in a row respectively.
