Korean Air enhances “Cash and Miles” program to offer more flexibility
Korean Air has enhanced its “Cash and Miles” program to allow customers to redeem more miles when purchasing tickets. From August 10, the maximum amount of redeemable miles for a Cash and Miles ticket has increased from 20% to 30%.

Korean Air has released a limited number of eco-friendly cosmetic pouches, made out of retired cabin life vests. The proceeds from the “life vest” cosmetic pouch sales will be donated to a global environmental organization.

Korean Air introduces the Airbus 321neo with fully lie-flat business seats
Korean Air recently received its first Airbus 321neo, which it will deploy starting this month. The airline’s A321neo is equipped with fully lie-flat seats in business class, making it the first Korean airline to offer this feature on a narrowbody aircraft.
Cebu Runway Overshoot
The runway at Mactan Cebu airport (CEB) is closed due to a disabled aircraft of a foreign airline that is obstructing the runway after a landing incident which occurred late Sunday evening.
