Korean Air is strengthening its global service by introducing fuel efficient cutting edge aircrafts. Starting April 2nd, Korean Air will introduce its brand new A330-300 aircrafts, one of the main Airbus model aircrafts, on its South East Asia routes. The newly introduced A330-300 aircrafts will join the fleet serving on Korean Air’s routes to Sydney, Brisbane, Singapore as well as other routes in south-east Asia and Oceania.

Korean Air, the flag carrier of South Korea, has announced a new codeshare agreement with Aerolíneas Argentinas on the Seoul-New York-Buenos Aires and Seoul-São Paulo-Buenos Aires routes. The new codeshare on the route via New York will commence on March 25th 2015 and the route via São Paulo will take effect after April upon obtaining regulatory approval, offering greater convenience and choice to passengers.

Korean Air will expand its network in China by launching four new services in the first half of 2015. The airline will launch Incheon-Hefei on March 30th, Incheon-Nanning and Jeju-Guiyang on May 11th and Daegu-Shenyang on June 22nd, meaning Korean Air now flies to more cities in China than any other airline from Korea.

Korean Air has announced it will change the current service on its Seoul Incheon-Milan-Rome–Incheon route, to provide direct flights to both Milan and Rome, offering three flights a week to each destination, with Milan increasing to four times a week in March. The changes will come into effect on February 25th 2015. The Rome service will see Korean Air operating three times a week utilizing B777-300ER aircraft with capacity for 291 passengers.

The two airlines have obtained regulatory approval to codeshare on Seoul-Los Angeles-Lima route, updating an original 2005 codeshare agreement of Seoul-Los Angeles-Santiago.
