UNWTO: Bright future for Greek tourism
United Nations World Tourism Organisation secretary general Taleb Rifai has expressed the confidence of the organisation in the continued growth of the tourism sector in Greece. In 2015, international tourist arrivals to Greece grew by seven per cent to reach 23.6 million, while exports generated by the sector increased by six per cent to €14.2 billion.

British Airways launches new routes to Greece

Greek tourism shrugs off Eurozone woes
Throughout Greece’s negotiations with the Eurozone, bookings to Greece from the UK have continued to be stable, according to the latest research. The ‘Leisure Travel Monitor’ report for summer 2015 from British-based analyst GfK Ascent has found that bookings taken for summer 2015 up until the end of June were up three per cent when compared to the same period last year.
