Frasers Hospitality Group has announced a key addition to its executive team with the appointment of Dennis Wong to the position of director of portfolio and asset management. He will be responsible for Frasers Hospitality’s asset management plans and enhancement initiatives to maximise investment potential and growth. 

Frasers has launched its fifth Modena serviced residence in China. The new Modena Zhuankou Wuhan, situated in the rapidly emerging capital of the Hubei province, follows the launch of Modena New District Wuxi. Frasers introduced the Modena brand in 2009 to specifically cater to a growing market niche of ‘road warriors’, who spend most of their time travelling and demand efficiency of product and services to support their lifestyle needs.

These include Singapore’s Leading Serviced Apartment Brand and Australasia’s Leading Serviced Apartment Brand.

China will continue to be a key growth area for Frasers Hospitality, which is on target to double its presence in China to 23 properties including those in the pipeline within the next two years, strengthening its presence in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen as well as key second and third tier cities. This was announced at the grand opening of the Gold Standard Fraser Suites Guangzhou, the city’s largest serviced residence.
