This is the third year Frasers Hospitality has been awarded the global title, having been chosen as its first ever recipient when the award was introduced in 2012.

Capri by Fraser arrives in Europe
Following the successful launches of its hotel residence brand Capri by Fraser in Asia Pacific, Frasers Hospitality, a member of Frasers Centrepoint, is taking it global with the launch of three new Capri by Fraser hotel residences in Europe. The recent opening of the 97-unit Capri by Fraser, Barcelona, Spain, and the 153-unit Capri by Fraser, Frankfurt, Germany, this year will be followed by the opening of Capri by Fraser Berlin, Germany, in 2017.
Frasers Hospitality adds Dalian property to burgeoning China portfolio
Frasers Hospitality, a member of Frasers Centrepoint, is on track to double its presence in China with the acquisition of a serviced residence property in the burgeoning city of Dalian. Frasers paid a total of S$100.29 million for the property. The gateway city to Northeast China, Dalian is a major port and centre for trade, industry, business and tourism.
Frasers completes £363m acquisition of Malmaison Hotel du Vin group
Frasers Hospitality UK, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Frasers Centrepoint, has successfully completed the acquisition of Malmaison Hotel du Vin group. Frasers paid £363 million to purchase the chain of boutique lifestyle hotels from an affiliate of KSL Capital Partners. MHDV owns two upscale boutique lifestyle brands – Malmaison and Hotel du Vin – comprising 29 boutique lifestyle hotels and 2,082 keys across 25 cities in the United Kingdom.

Frasers Hospitality seeks great access to rapidly growing Chinese market
Frasers Hospitality is eyeing a bigger share of the China market with the addition of ten more serviced residences in China’s second-tier cities of Tianjin, Nanchang, Hefei, Dalian, Kunming, Wuxi and Chengdu, and two more in the key cities of Shanghai and Shenzhen. The securing of these new serviced residences follows the recent openings of Modena Zhuankou Wuhan and Modena New District Wuxi last year. They involve the addition of more than 2,400 new apartment units, which will almost double Frasers Hospitality’s China portfolio, bringing it to 26 properties with more than 5,900 serviced apartment units in 14 key cities and second-tier cities.

Fraser Residence Menteng expands serviced apartment sector in Indonesia
Frasers Hospitality has opened its second property, Fraser Residence Menteng, in Jakarta, adding 128 Gold-standard serviced units to the capital’s business and diplomatic centre. The hospitality arm of the Frasers Centrepoint Group plans to grow its footprint in Indonesia with the opening of another six properties in the nation’s capital by 2017.
