Eurowings to increase USA connections from Düsseldorf
Eurowings is taking a bite out of the Big Apple, with the carrier unveiling plans to start new departures from Düsseldorf in April next year. Eurowings has added a total of 22 new destinations to its summer flight schedule for 2018. A large number of new routes from Munich, Hanover, Cologne, Salzburg, Stuttgart, Hamburg and Palma complete the offering of the expanding low-cost carrier.

Eurowings and the cabin crew union UFO have agreed a “collective agreement for growth”. Jörg Beissel, executive director of human resources and finance at Eurowings, said: “This is a ground-breaking step in light of the fact that we already have several hundred qualified applications.”
Eurowings launches recruitment drive to meet growing demand
Eurowings Group is looking for pilots, co-pilots, pursers and flight attendants to operate aircraft in order to facilitate its corporate growth. In a first phase, the initial aim is to hire 200 pilots and 400 flight attendants, with applications now being accepted.
Eurowings boosts operations at Weeze Airport, Germany
Eurowings has begun linking Weeze Airport to Munich, offering up to eleven flights between the Lower Rhine and the Bavarian capital on six days a week. Passengers appreciate the early morning and late evening flight times with demand increasing steadily since their publication.
