Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, the world’s largest hotel franchising company with approximately 9,000 hotels in over 95 countries, today announced its acquisition of the Vienna House brand for €44 million ($44 million) adding an upscale and midscale portfolio of approximately 40 hotels and more than 6,000 rooms
Lufthansa pilot strike averted after agreement reached
A second strike by Lufthansa pilots was averted at the last minute when the airline and union came to an agreement over future pilot pay. The Vereinigung Cockpit (VC) union on Monday announced a second strike would start today and run for 24 hours for passenger pilots and 48 hours for cargo pilots.
