Etihad and AA codeshare wins approval
Travellers from the UAE now have greater access to the American market, following regulatory approval for a new codeshare agreement between the award-winning Etihad Airways and American Airlines. The agreement, which comes into effect this week, coincides with Etihad launching flights to Chicago on 2 September 2009.
Etihad unveils Hyderabad service
Etihad Airways is boosting its Indian flying programme with the addition of a new Hyderabad service. The Abu Dhabi-based airline launches its non-stop, four times a week schedule to the capital of Andhra Pradesh from November 2009, becoming daily from the start of 2010.

Etihad launches Athens service
Etihad Airways has launched its inaugural flight from Abu Dhabi to the Greek capital, Athens. A high level delegation attended the launch which included the Greek Ambassador to the UAE, His Excellency Dionyssios Zois as well as representatives from Etihad Airways’ senior management team.
Etihad launches Istanbul service

Etihad plans new Turkey service
