Etihad signs three year deal with Tourism Australia
Tourism Australia has signed a three-year marketing agreement with Etihad Airways of the United Arab Emirates. The deal, worth an estimated $6 million, comes as the trade body moves to fill the gap created by the loss of funding from Qantas.

Etihad Airways is keen to expand its network in the US, chief executive James Hogan has said. Hogan disclosed that the US specifically is among the highest performing regions across the airline’s global network, with an average 81 per cent load factor in 2012.

Etihad Guest members are now able to earn Etihad Guest Miles on their total bill when staying at Yas Viceroy Abu Dhabi and Viceroy Maldives. The entire Viceroy portfolio of hotels will be included in the Etihad Guest portfolio of partners by April 2013.
