Etihad adds weekly services to Philippines
Etihad Airways will add three new weekly services between Abu Dhabi and Manila from 1 May 2016, offering a total of 17 return flights per week.
Etihad unveils new Dreamliner destinations for 2016
Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, today unveiled plans to fly its Boeing 787s to five more destinations during 2016. With a phased delivery of five new 787s over a seven-month period, beginning May 2016, the 299-seat 787 Dreamliners will be deployed as replacements for existing aircraft on daily scheduled services to Dusseldorf, Perth, Shanghai, Istanbul and Johannesburg from the airline’s Abu Dhabi hub.

Etihad inks deal with Swiss AviationSoftware
Etihad Airways have signed a strategic relationship agreement with Swiss AviationSoftware, which will enable the airline and its equity partners to move to a common maintenance platform, and provide them with the required commercial and operating flexibility throughout their fleet. Swiss-AS will also provide the software solution to Etihad Airways Partners including airberlin, Alitalia and Jet Airways, enabling each airline to now share technology more easily across the group.

Etihad Airways welcomes first A380 flights to New York
Etihad Airways has welcomed the highly-anticipated arrival of its Airbus A380 service at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport. The arrival marked the US debut of the airline’s exclusive A380 service, including The Residence by Etihad, the only commercially available three-room suite in the sky. The A380 now serves guests travelling on one of the airline’s two daily flights between Abu Dhabi and New York.
Etihad Airways deepens ties with Air France
Etihad Airways has expanded its strategic cooperation with Air France-KLM through a several hundred million US dollar component maintenance agreement for its Boeing 777 fleet. The ten-year deal, effective February 2016, provides Etihad Airways and its equity partners with access to an extensive global pool of components offered by Air France-KLM’s maintenance arm, Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance, for the wide-body aircraft through the 777 Component Services Program jointly operated with Boeing.
Etihad Airways to support Abu Dhabi tourism year round
Etihad Airways has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority, and also with Miral Asset Management, which oversees the development and management of a range of hospitality, sports, entertainment, retail and leisure destinations on Yas Island. The two MOUs will cement stronger ties between the three parties, and promote the global appeal of Abu Dhabi as a year-round tourist, business and cultural destination.
