Etihad and Jet Airways expand UAE-India connections
Etihad Airways is expanding its scheduled services between Abu Dhabi and India as strategic partner Jet Airways unveiled new routes and additional frequencies to further strengthen their partnership. From early 2017, the two airlines will expand their services between the United Arab Emirates and India by adding 28 weekly flights and three further Indian cities.
Etihad Airways offers daily service to Madrid, Spain
Etihad Airways is set to introduce a daily service from Abu Dhabi to Madrid, introducing three new flights each week effective from June 2017. Continuing to operate with a two-class Airbus A330-200, the daily service will strengthen the air bridge between the two capital cities and appeal more to corporate and leisure travellers.

Etihad Airways to go double daily on Dublin route
Etihad Airways today announced the introduction of an additional daily year-round service between Abu Dhabi and Dublin which increases frequency on the route to 14 flights a week, effective April 1st, 2017. The second daily operation, from the beginning of the summer 2017 season, reflects Etihad Airways’ long-term commitment to the route, and coincides with the Abu Dhabi-based carrier’s tenth anniversary of flying to the Irish capital.

Etihad Aviation Group confirms TUI AG leisure airline talks
Etihad Aviation Group and TUI AG today confirmed they are in discussions to create a European leisure airline group, focused on point-to-point flying to connect key tourist markets. It is proposed to contribute the touristic operations of the airberlin group and the German TUIfly company, including the aircraft currently operated by TUIfly for airberlin under a wet-lease agreement, into a new airline group established by TUI AG and Etihad Aviation Group.
Etihad Airways expands in Africa with kulula deal
Etihad Airways continues to build its presence in Africa through a new codeshare agreement with kulula, South Africa’s award-winning low cost carrier. The codeshare deal offers Etihad Airways customers flight options to a number of key cities in South Africa that include Cape Town, Durban, George and East London via Johannesburg. Etihad Airways will place its EY code on kulula’s scheduled flights between Johannesburg and these popular coastal cities.
Etihad Airways deploys Boeing 787 on Riyadh route
Etihad Airways is to deploy a Boeing 787 Dreamliner on one of its twice-daily scheduled flights between Abu Dhabi and Riyadh, with effect from October 30th. The upgrade from a single aisle Airbus A321 aircraft will cater to strong demand to and from the capital of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, offering guests more seats on a wide-body aircraft.
