Qantas- Emirates partnership to boost New South Wales tourism
The Qantas and Emirates partnership is set to boost local tourism as international bookings open for 32 Australian destinations including eight locations in New South Wales.
Emirates signs partnership deal with Formula 1
Emirates and the Formula One group have announced a five year agreement appointing Emirates as a global partner of Formula 1 starting with the imminent 2013 season. The announcement was made by HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al-Maktoum, chairman and chief executive, Emirates Airline & Group and Bernie Ecclestone, chief executive of the Formula One group.

Emirates Wolgan Valley Resort & Spa has announced the enhancement of its spa and wellbeing offerings with Australian brand Sodashi as its exclusive spa product provider. In a bid to streamline the resort’s holistic experience, Emirates Wolgan Valley will offer the Sodashi range exclusively in the Timeless Spa; and introduce the internationally acclaimed Australian skin care and spa brand into all guest suites and amenities.
Emirates launches new departures to Tokyo
Emirates has confirmed it will increase its commitment to Japan, with the launch of daily, non-stop flights between Dubai and Tokyo International Airport (Haneda Airport). The first flights will take off on June 3rd 2013.
Qantas wins interim approval for Emirates deal
Qantas has welcomed a decision by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission grant interim authorisation for the proposed Qantas and Emirates partnership. The partnership still remains subject to final authorisation from the ACCC, a decision which is expected in March.
