Emirates launches daily service to Washington
Emirates has launched its daily non-stop service from Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) to Dubai (DXB). Travellers from Washington Dulles will fly on a Boeing 777-200 LR aircraft.

Emirates has upgraded its evening service from Manchester from a two class Boeing 777-300ER to a three class Boeing 777-300ER, with the service starting on Saturday 1st September 2012.
Emirates plans second Thailand route

Emirates brings A380 to London Gatwick
Emirates has brought an Airbus A380 to Gatwick - the first ever scheduled A380 flight to the airport - to mark its 25th UK anniversary. The 517-seater aircraft, which is the world’s largest commercial airliner, was operating a special service on the airline’s lunchtime flights to and from Dubai, giving passengers travelling from Gatwick a one-off opportunity to experience its luxurious onboard amenities.
