An Emirates aircraft has landed in Bali for the first time since the suspension of flights in 2020 due to the pandemic, and was welcomed by a spectacular water cannon salute to inaugurate the airline’s welcome return.

With Eid Al Fitr approaching and more travellers planning to take to the skies, Emirates is responding by offering more flights across seven cities in the Middle East. The airline is stepping up its schedule by adding 23 flights and layering on additional seats with the deployment of both A380s and Boeing 777s between 28 April and 8 May to the four cities it serves in KSA, as well as to Kuwait, Beirut, and Amman.

Emirates is introducing seasonal treats to celebrate Easter on board and in select airport lounges worldwide, as part of its commitment to delight customers with unique and seasonal experiences that reflect its global clientele and footprint.

Emirates Airlines and Jamaica’s Tourism Minister, Hon Edmund Bartlett initiated discussions during his visits to the World Expo 2020 Dubai, with the aim of enhancing airlift connectivity to the Caribbean from the Middle East and other regions.

The Dubai-based airline has announced it will resume passenger services to Bali (1 May), London Stansted (1 August), Rio de Janeiro (2 November), and Buenos Aires (2 November). Emirates has also ramped up passenger services to Nigeria, Mauritius and Singapore to serve market demand.

Emirates will re-introduce pre-pandemic flight frequencies to its destinations in India from April 1st. The airline will be operating 170 weekly flights to nine cities in the country.
