One&Only to manage Emirates Wolgan Valley Resort
Emirates has appointed One&Only Resorts, a subsidiary of Kerzner International to manage the highly acclaimed luxury resort Emirates Wolgan Valley Resort & Spa in the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area in Australia. This will be One&Only’s second resort in Australia, following the successful rebirth of One&Only Hayman Island in July 2014. From early 2015, One&Only will be able to offer two of the most definitive experiences within Australia, showcasing the range of what the country has to offer.

Emirates is launching a fourth daily service from its home and hub, Dubai International Airport to John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) in New York commencing 8th March 2015.

Emirates pulls out of FIFA sponsorship following corruption allegations
Emirates Airline has confirmed it will terminate its sponsorship of FIFA as an investigation into allegations of corruption at the organisation continues. Allegations centre on the voting processes for selection of the upcoming World Cup hosts, with Russia set to stage the event in 2018 and Qatar in 2022.

Budapest Airport welcomes Emirates to Hungary
Budapest Airport has welcomed the inaugural flight of its new partner, Emirates Airline. Operated by its two-class 278-seat Airbus A330, the new daily service to Dubai is expected to deliver around 200,000 annual passengers to the central European airport.
Emirates Airline reaches Boeing 777 landmark in Dubai
Boeing and Emirates Airline are today celebrating the delivery of the airline’s 100th 777-300ER, marking another milestone in a partnership that began over two decades ago when the Dubai-based airline ordered its first 777. With this delivery, Emirates will have 142 777s in operation and is the only airline in the world to operate all the 777 variants. With a current direct backlog of 51 777-300ERs, the 777 also comprises the largest part of Emirates’ 213-strong fleet.
New appointment for Emirates
Emirates has announced the appointment of a new role within the Commercial division. The newly created position will be fulfilled by Mohammad Al Hashimi, who has worked with Emirates since 2006.
Emirates brings A380 services to Dallas/Fort Worth
Emirates has commenced its A380 service from Dubai to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. Since it launched a non-stop connection between Dubai and Dallas/Fort Worth in February 2012, Emirates has transported more than 460,000 passengers between the two cities.
Emirates brings A380 to Milan ahead of Expo 2015
Emirates will grow its services to and from Milan with the upgrade of one of its daily Boeing 777-300 services to an A380 from December 1st. This will be the first ever permanently scheduled A380 service to Milan Malpensa Airport. Bringing the A380 onto one of Emirates’ three daily Milan services will mean an increase in capacity of almost 38 per cent.
