Business travel boosts profits at easyJet
easyJet has reported a sharp increase in profits despite soaring fuel costs. Luton-based easyJet reported earlier underlying profit before tax increased by £60 million to £248 million in the year to September 30th, despite a £100 million increase in unit fuel costs.
easyJet launches new route to Iceland
easyJet, the UK’s largest airline, has today announced that it will operate a new route from London Luton Airport to Reykjavik in Iceland. The inaugural flight will take off from London Luton Airport on 27 March 2012 operating three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
