Passengers in Lincolnshire today had the opportunity to travel on a ‘new look’ train as Lincolnshire County Council joined forces with East Midlands Trains to mark the successful start of the train company’s £5 million fleet refurbishment programme.

A signalling problem in the Elstree & Borehamwood area is causing major disruption to East Midlands Trains services this morning.

Passengers using the East Midlands Trains’ website to book their tickets can now access the cheapest available fare for over 300 different UK train journeys with the launch of the company’s new and improved online Best Fare Finder.
