Hundreds of extra seats available to Skegness every Saturday

East Midlands Trains is encouraging people to take a trip to Skegness by train this summer by providing an additional eight carriage train to run between Derby, Nottingham and the popular seaside destination every Saturday until 30 August.

The additional train, which ran for the first time on Saturday 17 July will provide hundreds of extra seats and will run at the following times:

Depart Derby - 07.53
Depart Long Eaton - 08.03
Depart Beeston - 08.12
Depart Nottingham - 08.24
Depart Sleaford - 09.14
Depart Boston - 09.44
Arrive Skegness - 10.47

The train will also call at Sleaford and Boston details of the timetable can also be found at www.eastmidlandstrains.co.uk , or on posters displayed at stations.  Return travel can be made on one of East Midlands Trains’ regular services between Skegness and Nottingham, where connections are available through to Derby.

Tickets are available for just £18.90 for a day return, with a special £20 fare also available for passengers who wish to return on a different day, provided they use the special train for their outward journey.

As well as the extra train, East Midlands Trains will also strengthen a number of other services during the busy summer period.
