Dusseldorf Carnival and Indian Ocean Carnival to continue to cooperate
Dr. Rolph Herpens, the Vice President of the Dusseldorf Carnival Committee, returned to Germany from a trip to the Seychelles where he met with Alain St.Ange, the island’s Minister responsible for Tourism & Culture, and Elsia Grandcourt, the CEO of the Seychelles Tourism Board.

The German flag was flown this year at the Indian Ocean Vanilla Islands Carnival staged by Seychelles and La Reunion in Seychelles by the Dusseldorf Carnival delegation made up of some 50 people.

Edith Hunzinger, Regional Manager of the Seychelles Tourist Office in Germany, recently met the “royal couple” of the carnival celebrations in Düsseldorf, where the Seychelles will be featured prominently in this year’s Rose Monday Parade.
