Dubai Airports unveils dining portfolio for Concourse D
Dubai Airports has revealed an exciting line-up of restaurants and coffee shops for Concourse D, the new home of more than 100 airlines that fly to Dubai International, elevating the airport’s dining experience to a new level. Construction of Concourse D is well underway with the facility’s opening slated for the first quarter of 2015.

Dubai Airports set to launch runway upgrade
Dubai Airports has confirmed that all systems are go for a comprehensive runway upgrade project set to be launched at Dubai International on May 1st, 2014 to boost safety, service and capacity levels. The upgrade work will last 80 days during which the runways will be closed alternatively – the southern runway from May 1st to May 31st, and the northern runway from May 31st to July 20th, 2014.

Dubai International continues to see strong growth
Passenger traffic at Dubai International, the world’s second busiest airport for international passengers, rose 13.1 per cent in September, according to the latest traffic statistics issued today by operator Dubai Airports. Passenger traffic in September totalled 5,407,326, an increase of 13.1 per cent compared to 4,780,394 during the corresponding month in 2012.
Al Maktoum International opens at Dubai World Central
Dubai’s second airport, Al Maktoum International at Dubai World Central, has opened to passengers with the arrival of the first commercial flight. Dubai International continues passenger number growth
Passenger traffic at Dubai International, the world’s second busiest airport for international passengers, rose 6.1 per cent in July, according to a traffic report issued by operator Dubai Airports today. Passenger traffic in July reached 5,310,361, an increase of 6.1 per cent compared to 5,006,155 during the corresponding month in 2012.

Dubai Airports is inviting bids from food and beverage operators and selective retail-service providers for the award of concessions in Concourse D at Dubai International. Construction of Concourse D is well underway with the facility’s opening slated for 2015.
