Crystal Cruises is expanding its uber-exclusive collection of intimate “Boutique Adventures” during summer Northern Europe cruises with two new experiences in Belfast and Berlin. The shoreside outings – none of which are available on any other cruise line – offer intimate access to Northern Ireland’s political leadership and Germany’s Soho—Soho House, that is, along with visits to film locations around the city.
Effective with the first cruises in 2014, Crystal Cruises will eliminate smoking in all indoor areas, except for its Connoisseur Club smoking lounge. Outside smoking will be allowed in a limited number of designated spaces.

The new private car or van offerings allow singles, couples and small groups (8 maximum) to fully customise time ashore upon arrival. While Crystal is launching the program in 50 European ports on Crystal Symphony Mediterranean cruises and Crystal Serenity Northern European cruises, the ultra-luxury line plans to extend the program to other destinations later in the year.
