The Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association (CHTA) has signed a three-year agreement with the Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals association to expand the delivery of resources for members of both organizations.

Troubetzkoy steps up to lead Caribbean Hotel & Tourism Association
The board of directors of the Caribbean Hotel & Tourism Association has officially ratified Karolin Troubetzkoy to take office immediately as president of the association. Her term had been expected to begin June 2016. She will serve as CHTA president through June 2018.
CHTA appoints leadership for new biennium
Caribbean Hotel & Tourism Association president Emil Lee has enhanced his executive committee by adding three Caribbean tourism industry professionals who will serve as regional vice presidents during his presidency. Lee has appointed Sanovnik Destang, executive director of Bay Gardens Resorts in St. Lucia, Vincent Vanderpool-Wallace, founder of Bedford Baker Group in the Bahamas, and Warren Binder, president Creative Travel Consultants in Florida.
Emil Lee takes up reins at Caribbean Hotel & Tourism Association

Caribbean Travel Marketplace set to return to Puerto Rico
Caribbean Travel Marketplace will return to Puerto Rico Jan. 28-30, 2015 where the region’s largest and most important marketing event will be held at the Puerto Rico Convention Center in San Juan for the first time since January 2010.

Jamaica showcases offerings at Caribbean Travel Marketplace 2014
Jamaica is showcasing some of its spectacular tourism offerings this week as Montego Bay plays host to the Caribbean Hotel & Tourism Association’s premier tourism marketing event, Caribbean Travel Marketplace 2014. The marketplace, which is expected to attract 1,200 delegates, is being hosted at Montego Bay Convention Centre, which was named Caribbean’s Leading Meetings & Convention Centre in 2013 by the World Travel Awards.
Emil Lee to take the helm of CHTA
The Caribbean Hotel & Tourism Association has elected Emil Lee to take over the helm of the organisation. Lee is currently president of the St. Maarten Hospitality & Trade Association, general manager of Princess Heights Hotel and co-operator of Atlas Construction Company in St.Maarten.
New leadership for Caribbean Hotel & Tourism Association
The Caribbean Hotel & Tourism Association has named hospitality industry leader Jeff Vasser to the position of director general. Vasser joins the CHTA after serving since 2002 as the president of the Atlantic City Convention & Visitors Authority. He assumes his new post on November 18th.
