(NYSE:CHH) highlighted the franchisor’s extensive opportunities for growth and shared their insights on its business operations at the eighth annual America’s Lodging Investment Summit, held this week in San Diego, California. Speakers from Choice Hotels included President and Chief Executive Officer Stephen P. Joyce, Senior Vice President, eCommerce and Global Distribution Mary Beth Knight, and Vice President of Emerging Brands, Kevin Lewis.

The 134-suite Oklahoma City hotel is owned by Pat and John C. Lopez, of Suenos Hospitality of Oklahoma City and operated by HP Hotels. As of January 1, 2010, there are 19 Cambria Suites hotels open and nearly 30 under development nationwide.

Choice Hotels International, Inc. (NYSE:CHH) today announced that it has agreed to acquire the remaining 60 percent ownership interest in Choice Hospitality (India) Ltd. Choice Hospitality India serves as the master partner and franchisor of Choice’s hotel brands in India, and after the completion of the transaction, the entity will be operated as a wholly-owned subsidiary.
