Cathay Pacific moves freight operations to Dubai Al Maktoum
Cathay Pacific announced earlier will move its freighter operations from Dubai International to Al Maktoum International at Dubai World Central from February 2014. Dubai is Cathay Pacific’s transit hub for its European destinations including Amsterdam, Frankfurt, London, Manchester, Paris and Milan.
Cathay Pacific waves farewell to Boeing 747-400

Cathay Pacific Airways has revealed that Rupert Hogg will take up the position of Chief Operating Officer in the airline with effect from March 2014. Mr Hogg will at the same time become a Director of Cathay Pacific.

Cathay Pacific returns to black despite fuel costs
Cathay Pacific Group has reported a profit of HK$24 million for the first six months of 2013, compared with a restated loss of HK$929 million in the same period of 2012. Earnings per share were HK0.6 cents compared to a restated loss per share of HK23.6 cents in the first half of 2012.
