Cathay Pacific Airways has signed a landmark ten-year contract with Amadeus which will see the carrier and its subsidiary, Dragonair, adopt the complete Altéa Customer Management Solution (CMS) to manage their passenger service chain, including reservations, inventory and departure control systems.

Cathay Pacific Airways today held a graduation ceremony for ten local cadet pilots who have completed its Cadet Pilot Programme at BAE SYSTEMS Flight Training in Adelaide, South Australia. The ten graduates bring the number of cadet pilots who have graduated from Cathay Pacific`s programme to almost 150 since it first began in 1988. Cathay Pacific investment in the programme is part of its long-term commitment to develop Hong Kong`s aviation industry.
Cathay Pacific Welcomes Its First Learjet
Cathay Pacific Airways today welcomed the arrival of its first Learjet 45 training aircraft—which landed at Hong Kong International Airport at 2:20pm this afternoon. The aircraft was ordered from Canadian manufacturer Bombardier Aerospace for use in Cathay Pacific`s pilot training programme.
