The US Virgin Islands Department of Tourism has advised that full assessment on the impact of Hurricane Irma is underway. Following the impact of the storm, the American territory advised, while St. Croix is getting back to business, visitors are being encouraged not to visit the district of St. Thomas and St. John.

The Caribbean Hotel & Tourism Association has expressed sympathy for the loss of life and hardship following the passage of Hurricane Irma. The regional tourism body has urged Caribbean residents and visitors in the projected path of the storm to take continued precautions as it makes its way through parts of the northern Caribbean.

interCaribbean Airways is pleased to announce the introduction of new scheduled non-stop air service connecting Kingston to Montego Bay, with 16 weekly flights each way.
