Lufthansa completes Amadeus Fare Families roll-out
Lufthansa and Austrian Airlines have completed implementation of Amadeus Fare Families to launch the group’s new branded fares consistently across the direct and indirect channels. As of today, Amadeus subscribers will be able to book Lufthansa’s and Austrian’s new Light, Classic and Flex fares for flights departing as of October 1st.

Amadeus is to expand its sales and catering offering to the hotel industry with the acquisition of Hotel SystemsPro by Newmarket, an Amadeus company. A US-based provider of sales, catering and maintenance software to the hotel and hospitality industry, Hotel SystemsPro delivers high-performance, ASP-based enterprise and property solutions to more than 4,500 hotels in North America and beyond.
Amadeus capitalises on travel rebound to post strong profits
Amadeus IT Holding has repowered adjusted profit grew 10.3 per cent, to €419.6 million, in the first half of financial 2015. This was driven by an increase in revenue of 14.2 per cent, to €1,977 million, and EBITDA growth of 10.8 per cent, to €779 million.

Amadeus boosts property management division with Itesso acquisition
Amadeus is to expand its technology offering to the hotel industry with the acquisition of Netherlands-based Itesso BV, a provider of cloud-native property management systems. With its new cloud-native Itesso Enterprise Lodging System -Itesso ELS - the company is leading the industry towards a new generation of property management solutions. Itesso also currently provides PMS technology to 1,800 properties worldwide.
Interjet signs with Amadeus for new distribution deal
Interjet and Amadeus have signed a full content agreement which will see the carrier adopt Amadeus’ Altéa Reservation. The deal is designed to enable Interjet to extend its reach to new markets and grow its international customer base. Interjet will make its full range of domestic and international flights, as well as published fares, bookable in all Amadeus points of sale around the world.

Amadeus to acquire Navitaire in US$830 million deal
Amadeus has agreed to acquire Navitaire, a wholly owned subsidiary of Accenture that provides technology and business solutions to the airline industry, for US$830 million. Navitaire, which focuses on the low-cost and hybrid-carrier segments of the airline industry and has a global customer base of more than 50 operators, provides revenue-generation and cost-streamlining solutions in the areas of reservations, ancillary sales, loyalty, revenue management, revenue accounting and business intelligence.
Deutsche Bahn renews Amadeus partnership
