Emirates’ A350 to be deployed to Montréal offering latest travel experiences to customers
The Emirates A350 aircraft will make its debut in Canada on 1 February 2026* and serve the Montréal-Dubai route. The A350 aircraft will replace the current Boeing 777 aircraft operating the daily service and its deployment marks the introduction of Emirates’ latest cabin class, Premium Economy, in Canada. Emirates’ A350 aircraft features the airline’s latest interiors, industry-first technologies and innovations, and its roll out reinforces Emirates’ commitment to customers in Canada. Customers flying to and from Montréal will now have more choice when making travel plans and can enjoy exceptional levels of comforts onboard. Emirates’ A350 aircraft features three cabin classes with 32 Business Class seats in a 1-2-1 layout, 28 Premium Economy seats with generous legroom, and 238 Economy Class seats.

Singapore Airlines is launching a range of gourmet desserts for its Premium Economy Class and Economy Class customers for the first time, designed by Guest Chef Monica Galetti to accompany her new suite of menus. The exclusive dessert range includes a Salted Caramel and Honeycomb Pot for Economy Class – an indulgent layered dessert, encapsulated in a pot with an exclusive wrap-around sleeve featuring the Airline’s signature Batik print. In Premium Economy Class, customers can look forward to a Salted Caramel and Honeycomb Delice, served on elegant custom-made porcelain serviceware. Both dishes take inspiration from Monica’s childhood favourite treat - the Hokey Pokey from New Zealand.
Air Canada to Launch New Flights to Berlin, Nantes, Ponta Delgada; Adds New Route to Brussels
Air Canada today announced a further expansion of its Summer 2026 global schedule to Europe with new destinations from Toronto and Montréal, plus a new European route from Halifax. From Montréal, Air Canada will offer non-stop service three times weekly to Germany’s capital, Berlin, and three times per week to Nantes, France. The airline will launch service to Ponta Delgada in the Azores from Toronto, and it is also adding a second international destination from Halifax to Brussels. Additionally, Air Canada will be resuming its Montréal -Tel Aviv seasonal route for next summer.
Etihad Reports October 2025 Traffic Statistics
Etihad Airways carried 2.0 million passengers in October 2025, a 28% increase compared with the same month last year. Year-to-date, Etihad has now carried 18.1 million passengers, representing 19% growth over the first ten months of 2024. The airline maintained an 88% passenger load factor in October and year-to-date, demonstrating effective capacity management alongside rapid expansion.

GO7, the growth platform for airlines, has today announced that Sell-more-seats© (SMS), its IATA-compliant passenger service system (PSS), has re-entered the market. This follows a strategic pause in new airline onboardings while SMS was integrated into GO7’s refracted architecture. The system, which holds the IATA two-letter code “W1,” is designed to streamline inventory management, reservation, and ticketing processes while facilitating codeshare with full-service carriers. Since re-entering the market, SMS has supported the launch of Swedish virtual airline Brommaflyg, a carrier focused on restoring essential air connectivity between Visby (the Isle of Gotland) and Stockholm Bromma Airport for Gotland’s residents and businesses.
