VIRGIN ATLANTIC BOOSTS LONDON HEATHROW-BENGALURU CONNECTIVITY WITH 11 FLIGHTS PER WEEK
Virgin Atlantic is increasing services between London Heathrow and Bengaluru (Bangalore) from 7 to 11 flights per week in January, February and March 2026, strengthening links between the UK and India while enhancing connectivity across North America. Reflecting strong customer demand, the additional flights supplement the airline’s existing daily schedule to Bengaluru, first launched in March 2024 for both customer and cargo operations. With India representing Virgin Atlantic’s largest area of growth outside the United States, the enhanced schedule complements the airline’s double daily services from London Heathrow to both Delhi and Mumbai and builds on our successful partnership with IndiGo, providing seamless connections to 33 destinations across India including Goa, Amritsar and Jaipur.

Air Canada launches Black ‘Fly-Day’ fares in UK and Ireland
Air Canada, the largest Canadian airline and Canada’s flag carrier, is offering discounted return fares this Black Friday for UK and Irish customers travelling to Canada, the US, Mexico and the Caribbean. From 09:00 on 27 November to 11:59 on 3 December, UK customers will receive an up to £50 discount when booking Economy seats. Meanwhile, travellers in Ireland will get up to €50 off select fares.
British Airways expands its Heathrow network with two new short-haul destinations for summer 2026
British Airways is expanding its network with the launch of two new short-haul additions to its route map, including Tivat in Montenegro and Guernsey in the Channel Islands. The UK’s flag carrier will launch seasonal flights to Tivat from London Heathrow Terminal 3 on 14 May 2026, operating during the summer season. British Airways has also announced year-round flights to Guernsey, commencing on 19 April 2026.
Emirates to serve Baghdad with all Airbus A350 flights from 1 January 2026
