First EgyptAir A220-300 headed for Cairo
EgyptAir has taken delivery of the first of 12 A220-300 aircraft on order, becoming the first A220 operator based in the Middle East and North African region. The carrier also becomes just the sixth operator worldwide.

The first A220-300 for EgyptAir has successfully completed its inaugural test flight from the Mirabel assembly line. The first of 12 aircraft EgyptAir has on order is due to be delivered to the Cairo-based airline in the coming weeks.

Lion Air takes delivery of first Airbus A330neo
Indonesian carrier Lion Air has received its first A330-900. The arrival makes the airline the first from the Asia-Pacific region to fly the A330neo. The A330neo will be used by Lion Air for non-stop long-haul services from Indonesia.
